7/7/07 was the predicted day of Aria's grand entrance to this world, but instead, it's her 3 week birthday. We can't imagine not having had her with us for the past three weeks.
She is fabulous and healthy, practicing her special talents of eating, sleeping, pooping and growing. Nana says that Aria weighs 8 pounds now. Our next doctor's appointment is next week, so at that time I can make an official report. In any case, she's filling out and looking more and more like a baby.
We've been getting adventurous and taking outings of some sort nearly every day. She generally sleeps through them, but I cling to the belief that she's getting something out of the fresh air anyway. I know it's nice for me to get out of the house some.
Tara and Craig came to visit recently.

Look! I can also sleep with Nana,
And with my daddy,
And in my car seat all dressed for an outing,
And in my car seat all dressed for bed,
I'm an expert eater, too!

Sometimes I enjoy being awake, too, like here on Nana's lap,
Or here being changed,
Or here trying on my new hat from Uncle Riley and his mother Leslie.

I love the pics! Babies are so exciting! and they never stop being exciting! I thought my niece was awesome when she was just boring but now she is like a little person, with a huge personality. I cant wait to see what Aria's personality's going to be like. I must visit some time. Hope u guys are getting good sleep! YAY!

Joy! It's so fun to read and see the miraculous saga of little Aria the Precious. Thanks for sharing it all in this way. A gift to everyone. In fact, I'm thinking there needs to be an official edict from the Department of Better World for All that says everyone needs to spend the first ten minutes of their work day reading a mother-blog. ARIA is SO cute. congratulations!! seriously, i couldn't stop smiling when i looked at your posts. i'm so happy for you. i thought a few of them were funny too in a cute way, especially that picture with you and aria and (your?) cats hanging out. aw, i'd love to see more pictures of her when and if you upload them to your blog. i definetely see a contribution from both you and daddy in her eyes, and she definetely has your eyebrows. hahaha. geez, you're a mommy now. i know you'll do great!
